黃煒霖，博士，教授，博士生導師。中國石油大學（北京）學士（雙學位）、碩士、博士學位。2016年9月-2017年10月，國家公派University of California, Santa Cruz（UCSC）。入選國家“博新計劃”、中國石油大學（北京）“優秀青年學者”、中國科協“青年人才托舉工程”（由中國科協資助），2019年獲“劉光鼎地球物理青年科學技術獎”、2020年獲“傅承義青年科技獎”。
主要從事地震信號處理、分析與反演，人工智能與大數據，微地震監測，圖像與信號處理方面的研究工作，參與國家自然科學基金、國家“973”項目、國家重大專項以及企業委托等多項科研項目。在IEEE Transactions on Image processing、IEEE Transactions on Geoscience and Remote Sensing、Geophysics、Geophysical Journal International等期刊上發表SCI檢索論文30余篇，發表歐洲地質學家與工程師學會（EAGE）年會、美國勘探地球物理學家學會（SEG）年會等國際會議論文30余篇。
常年擔任Geophysics、Geophysical Journal International、IEEE Transactions on Geoscience and Remote Sensing、IEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing Letters、Computers & Geosciences、Geophysical Prospecting、Journal of Applied Geophysics等多個SCI期刊，及EAGE、SEG年會等多個國際會議審稿人。2018、2019、2020年受邀擔任第80、81、82屆EAGE年會Session Chair；2020年受邀擔任第90屆SEG年會Session Chair。SCI期刊Petroleum Science副主編。中國地球物理學會、中國地質學會、EAGE、SEG、美國電氣和電子工程師協會（IEEE）會員。
