為全面提高我院研究生培養質量，鼓勵研究生在國外刊物發表論文，我院于2012年2月制定了《地球科學學院關于提高研究生招生培養質量的幾項規定》，提出對在國外期刊發表高水平學術論文的研究生予以獎勵。
2012年6月，我院對2012屆畢業研究生實施了獎勵政策。經過自主申報和學院審核，博09級龔承林和碩09級高平兩位同學分獲10000元和3000元獎勵。
