第19屆世界石油大會征文內容
19th WORLD PETROLEUM CONGRESS
A WORLD IN TRANSITION —DELIVERING ENERGY FOR SUSTAINABLE GROWTH
變化的世界,為可持續發展奉獻能源
Block 2 —Downstream(下游板塊)
F7 Latest advances in bottom-of-the barrel conversion processes
重質原料轉化工藝最新進展
Contact: Luis Cabra
Refineries in the future will process heavier crude oils to convert them into lighter, higher quality motor fuels. Delayed coking has been for many years and still is the workhorse for bottom-of-thebarrel conversion. Catalytic processes still fail to offer a sufficiently attractive techno-economic balance to many refiners for the processing of the heaviest feedstock. By-product disposal (coke, sulphur, metals and spent catalyst) may be of concern also, depending upon the process applied..The most advanced processes and processing schemes, on-going projects and relevant case studies will be presented in this Session, in a field which is gaining renewed interest as it also applies to the upgrading of extra-heavy crude oils and oil sands.
F8 New processing routes to re-balance diesel/gasoline at refineries
平衡煉廠中汽、柴油的新工藝路線
Contact: Jens Weitkamp
In some regions of the world, there has recently been a shift in the demand pattern between diesel fuel and motor gasoline. As a consequence, refineries may encounter an imbalance between their production capacities and current or future market needs. This session will address the options available to refiners for adapting the diesel/gasoline yields and qualities to the future market demands. Emphasis will be placed on emerging or innovative processing routes, such as the manufacture of isooctane by dimerization of isobutene followed by hydrogenation, or the manufacture of high-quality diesel through oligomerization of olefins or ring opening of aromatics rich refinery streams like light cycle oils.
