5月16日上午,繼續教育學院事業發展中心雅西博士帶團對尼日爾駐華大使館進行了友好訪問,隨行人員包括國際培訓中心焦潔麗和中石油尼日爾石油技術與管理官員培訓班學員共8人。尼日爾駐華大使Inoussa先生及教育參贊Haladou先生參加了此次會面,并進行了熱情的接待。
Inoussa先生精通中國文化,會談中表示在華的石油技術與管理官員培訓班給了尼日爾學員一次難得的培訓機會,希望他們努力學習,增強對中國的了解,珍惜此次培訓機會。中國石油大學(北京)繼續教育學院雅西博士對學校及學院的培訓工作做了簡要介紹,同時提到繼續教育學院是一個非常良好的教育平臺,增強了海內外石油行業的溝通,擁有覆蓋石油專業領域的科學、技術、工程、管理、環境、語言等諸多培訓項目。學院的培訓服務還可以根據各種需求提供給生活在不同地域的中國人和國外人。會談中還計劃由學校與尼日爾駐華大使館簽訂“戰略合作協議”,以此讓更多需要相關教育培訓的尼日爾學員獲得更大的收益。教育參贊haladou先生在會談中也表示希望進一步深入了解中國石油大學(北京)繼續教育學院的情況,建立長期聯絡,進而促進中國和尼日爾在文化、科技等領域的深入合作。
會議結束后,繼續教育學院雅西博士誠摯邀請尼日爾駐華大使Inoussa先生及教育參贊Haladou先生等相關人員在方便的時候前往中國石油大學(北京)參觀考察,為兩國學員提高專業能力、科技水平和管理知識提供新的機遇。
走訪尼日爾駐華大使館是中國石油大學(北京)繼續教育學院服務“一帶一路”國家戰略的一項重要工作,也是我院落實學校“十三五”規劃樹立國際品牌的重要舉措,必將為學院的全球化運作帶來積極深遠的意義。

CES Meeting @ the Embassy of Niger in Beijing: An Unforgettable Talk!
The Continuing Education School of China Petroleum University (Beijing) Paid a Friendly Visit to the Niger Embassy in Beijing
On 16th May 2016, in the morning, a delegation from China University of Petroleum (Beijing), Continuing Education School, Dr. Yasir representing the Business Development Center and Mrs. Jelly, the training manager assistant, have accompanied the first trainees group from Nigerien Ministry of Energy & Petroleum to visit the Niger Embassy in Beijing which located in Sanlitun, Chaoyang District, Beijing.
H.E. the ambassador, Mr. Inoussa Moustapha who has a good command of Chinese very warmly welcomed all of the gusts, he emphasize the excellent opportunity of Nigerien trainees that they have and advised them to exert as much of effort they could, be focused on study and follow the scheduled training classes with at most enthusiastic spirit. Next, the Business Development Center representative director, Dr. Yasir made a brief introduction about the available training programs at CUPB; he presented an outline about the Continuing Education School (CES) as an extremely well-organized platform in the areas of vocational training, e.g. education, science, technology, engineering, management and leadership, languages, modern management and innovative systems, environment and energy alternatives and other novel programs. He added that such training services can be made available to the Nigerien community in China as well as Nigerien people abroad; in which the capabilities of CES allow the time and place of classrooms not be fixed but both can be flexible according to the need of the trainees. A last comment on a "long-term training contract" has been discussed so that the trainees can enjoy the benefit of budget cut.
On the other hand, the Nigerien Academic & Cultural Attaché Dr. Haladou Abdou hosted a separate short meeting in his office with Dr.Yasir. The main items discussed were as follows: (1) The embassy needs time to look on the materials provided by the Business Development Center of CES; (2) Before responding, another meeting between both sides is preferred; and (3) The Nigerien Academic & Cultural Attaché assured to permanently keep in touch with CES on the subject matter.
