            Mechanics

            Objectives
            The program is designed for students:
            (1) To enhance basic mathematical, physical and mechanical theories and skills and establish a solid theoretical foundation for future study and research. 
            (2) To gain experience in advanced laboratories by carrying out a variety of experiments. 
            (3) To be informed of the latest and leading-edge development of the field.
            (4) To be trained as professional personnel who are capable of conducting related scientific research.

            Graduation & Degree Requirements
            Duration of Program: 3 years for full-time students, no more than 4 years for half-time and part-time students.

            Graduates may choose to: 
            (1) Continue their studies in mechanics or related fields. 
            (2) Teach in universities or colleges. 
            (3) Conduct scientific research in universities, colleges or other academic institutions. 
            (4) Work as high-level engineers or engineering managers for oil enterprises.
